By accessing or using the threshold1 authentication platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including developers integrating our SDK and end-users authenticating through applications built on threshold1.
2. Description of Service
threshold1 provides authentication infrastructure including passkey-based authentication, magic link fallbacks, OTP support, and related identity management tools via API, SDK, and dashboard. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately via our contact page of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit malware or engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
- Use the Service for credential stuffing, brute force attacks, or similar abuse
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written consent
5. Billing and Payments
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with overdue balances after providing reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, documentation, and trademarks, remain with threshold1. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely as permitted herein.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, threshold1 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
